I grew up in Los Altos and attended LASD schools. I went to Covington Elementary and Egan Jr. High. I am grateful to get to teach in my home district. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development from California State University, Hayward. Two years ago I earned an administrative credential from National University. I have been teaching kindergarten for more than twenty years and I absolutely love helping our youngest learners grow! Their natural enthusiasm for learning and compassion for others make me smile every day and give me so much hope for the future. I always work to create an environment that is inviting, engaging, and current, making sure that ALL children feel included, valued, and celebrated. I have been married for twenty-four years and have an adult daughter. My husband and daughter also attended LASD schools. I love to read, sing, draw and spend time with my friends and family. I am a lifelong learner and tell everyone that I have my dream job.
